President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, said future films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will introduce two LGBTQ characters. While speaking with Gregory Ellwood from The Playlist, Feige addressed the glaring blemish on the ever-expanding franchise.
Ellwood point-blank asked Feige: ‘When are we getting a Gay, Bi, LGBTQ, out character in the MCU? Is it even in the works?’
Feige had an equally direct response and that was simply ‘yes’. He then added the characters are both ones fans have seen before and also completely new. The answers don’t give away much, especially before they’re actually seen on the big screen. However, many fans may find it a welcome step forward.
