Nintendo Direct gave us our first glimpse at the newly announced Splatoon 3, including its character customisation options. It’s the latest in Nintendo’s online shooter series that sees cartoon squid kids battling it out in teams to squirt as much ink as possible over the battlefield using some wild weaponry. VIDEO GAMES: The Sims 4 Will Have a Lesbian Couple on the Cover

The cover of the The Sims 4 will have a same-sex couple on the cover for the first time since the life simulation game franchise was released in 2000. EA Games, which produces The Sims 4, revealed the cover art during a livestream last week. The cover shows a bunch of Sims characters, including two women holding each other in the bottom left. The Japanese company has unveiled a series of DIY cardboard toys, called Nintendo Labo kits, for its wildly popular Switch gaming console. Assembled from sheets of cardboard, the accessories are designed to interact with the Switch and its Joy-Con controllers in a variety of ways. Robert Yang is a well-known indie game developer whose games explore gay sex in all nuances, and with a lot of artistic vision.
