Star Wars Comic Debuts Trans Non-Binary Jedi

Jedi Terec and Ceret

Star Wars’ trans non-binary Jedi Terec and Ceret will grace the cover of a hotly-anticipated June comic.

Terec and Ceret will star on the cover of the June issue of Star Wars: The High Republic, it was announced on Wednesday to mark Trans Day of Visibility (31 March).

The non-binary Jedi are bond-twins, meaning they have a linked consciousness and finish each other’s sentences, and made their first appearance in issue two of The High Republic.

“We’re proud to unveil an exclusive cover highlight Terec and Ceret, trans non-binary Jedi, currently featured in Marvel’s The High Republic comic,” the official Star Wars Instagram account wrote alongside an image of the cover.

“We support trans lives and we are passionated and committed to broadening our representation in a galaxy far far away,” the account added.
