About The Book
Centuries ago, the planet they cherished was conquered, but now three warriors from an ancient race of gifted beings intend to remedy that.
Corin JaKobi and Marcus D’Ath are lovers and members of an elite planetary squad that rid the city sectors of the dangerous Fallen. When an old friend uncovers the true horrific nature of the elders in the organization they work for, anger at their duplicity drives Corin, Marcus, and rogue squadron hunter, Zeb to plan for the ruling group’s demise.
It won’t be easy, and when Marcus is captured and detained at the elders’ pleasure, Corin’s white-hot fury at the thought of losing the man he loves knows no bounds. Will Corin get to his beloved in time to stop the horror that awaits him? Can the warriors free the planet and return it to the lovely place it was before the aggressors arrived?
The Review
Centuries ago, Elfinndor was invaded, and to ensure some of the population survived, arks were sent to an unoccupied planet. Those left behind hide in an underground city. Tor JaKobi and a group of men have fought the invaders, but they were no match for them.
Defeated, they surrender, and when the Elders – a group of leaders from the invaders – offer a treaty, Tor agrees to it, hoping to save the remaining humans. It will take three men = one a rogue and two who are part of the Elite Hunter Squad – to finally learn the truth about the Zangnuit Elders, and to try and succeed where others failed. To bring peace and return to Elfinndor, and to destroy the invaders once and for all.
Serving on the Elite Hunter Squad, Corin JaKobi and his lover Marcus D’Ath, have a home together. They carry out assignments when called upon, but it’s Zeb Farell, Corin’s ex, who who uncovers the secrets the Elders have kept hidden for centuries.
Zeb went rogue and was banished, but the Elder’s called on him to be part of Zangnuit’s Harvest Crew. What they harvest finally reveals what the Zangnuits really are, and what they require from the humans. Zeb plans to expose the lies and find a way to destroy his enemy.
Centuries of living under the rule of the Zangnuits, their population decreasing every year, and with barely enough food to live on. it will take a monk’s secrets to reveal how to destroy the enemy. A pledge of “Thou shalt not kill” has kept the monks from exposing how to kill the Zanguits, but now it’s finally time to break that vow, and to face the reality of all the people the enemies themselves have killed.
Secrets that took centuries to uncover, a beautiful love story between Corin and Marcus, explicit sex and a fight for freedom made this book an enjoyable read.
