About The Book

A werewolf and seven vampires are all that stand between the world and complete annihilation.

When Kai Richter and Ori Bier met, sparks flew.

Then a train blew up.

Tracking an organism deadly to not only humans, but vampires and werewolves alike, brings Kai and Ori into The Vampire Guard. Decades later, they, along with Operative Team Jack Rabbit, come face to face with the horrors that same virus produces. Dead bodies are coming back to life, and rational people are becoming violent and brutal killers.

A massacre is taking place nearly a mile under the Atlantic Ocean. Two teams of The Vampire Guard are in the thick of it, fighting to survive.

The Review

Endosymbiont is the third book in “The Vampire Guard” series by Elizabeth Noble. Noble takes readers into the past and back to the present day, where the Vampire Guards – the Jack Rabbit team – will take on another extraordinary assignment.

The novel opens in 1929, where a devastating battle is taking place in Hebron, Palestine. Rabbi Ori Bier has just lost someone dear to him, Yaar Mindel. He meets Calev and learns of the Haganah, and eventually takes a vow to protect the Jewish people.

Flash forward to current day Nevada. The Jack Rabbit team is at the safe house. Dr. Lucas Coates, Declan, Det. Jonas Forge and Blair receive a level five alert. Porter Samuels, senior member of the Armored Train team, is calling in the Jack Rabbit team with a new assignment – an “Extinction Level Event” that could have a global impact.

Bags packed and onboard the Chariot, they’re soon on their way to the Akhkharu Nasaru North American Headquarters in Maine. The Jack Rabbit team will meet with Porter, Sophia, Ori Bier and Kai Richter, and then travel to the east coast of Africa and board the TACG Deep Sea Bio-research lab on a mission to save humans and vampires and stop a deadly virus.

Vampires and Werewolves will once again unite to stop a global disaster. What will they discover in the undersea lab? And are they ready to face the danger that could destroy them all?

Endosymbiont is a suspenseful, fast paced, action under-the-sea adventure, with danger at every turn. It’s filled with suspicion, thrills, deceit and more.

Outside of “present day, Noble also takes readers back to Germany, England, Spain and various otherplaces in the world during 1929 and the 1940s. She also shares more background information on the past lives of Porter and Sophia Samuels, Yaar Mindel, Ori Bier, Kai Richter, Declan and Jonas Forge. The story includes unique friendships and how the couples in it relate to one another: vampires and vampire/werewolf.

I highly suggest reading the rest of the “Vampire Guard” series first – Code Name Jack Rabbit and Quarry – meet the wide variety of characters that have made this series so fantastic. Endosymbiont is the most well written, entertaining and exciting novel in the series to date. Noble does not disappoint here, and I’m ready for book four!
