About The Book
Sarah Colby is a musician, teacher, lover, sister, and so much more. In the past year, she learned that sometimes life takes you places you never even knew existed.
For Sarah and her sister Annie, they found out that not only were the monsters real but sometimes you loved them. Now the Colby sisters and their friends are being targeted by someone with a grudge. They must discover who is attacking the people of Columbus or risk losing all that they hold dear.
Nobel Keller is with them every step of the way but will she bring salvation or merely the end of their lives in Columbus?
The Review
This is a great second book in the Blood Resonance series. Embracing Forever has a bit more drama to the plot along with established and new relationships that we follow. Keller and Sarah, and Annie and Jesse are still going strong after everything that they all went through and learnt in book one and we also have more time spent with Jill, Sarah’s best friend, and Louve, alpha wolf and owner of Cirque de Loupe.
Drama unfolds as certain wolves from Louve’s pack start acting out and they take an unhealthy liking towards Jesse and Annie. What unfolds has everyone alert, wary and protective of their loved ones as it escalates for them and the local community but poses the most danger to Annie as the only human of their group.
Despite all of this, there’s a lot of good times for each couple and the group. Keller is thinking about moving onto the next step of her life with Sarah, Sarah has a new album to make and a festival to play at that her sister, Annie, is putting together, whilst Jesse is getting to grips with her new wolf abilities.
One of my favourite things about this series is how much the women mean to each other. It’s a real family unit with a real mash up of personalities, abilities and outlooks on life. They work well together under really stressful times but also make sure to take the time to enjoy life with their significant other and everyone within their group.
The story has a real satisfying ending, both to the plot and for the characters overall. This is a series that I would recommend to fans of FF romance, paranormals and fantasy stories.
The Reviewer
Hello all, my name is Xanthe and I am excited to be a reviewer for the PRG.
I read a lot, every night for at least 4-5 hours and I love to get lost in the world that an author has created. The best ones leave you wanting more and at a loss for words to describe just how good it is but I’ll try my best.
I live in a small town in South West England, just me and my dog Bonnie. I work part time in administration and really enjoy my job and the people I work with which I am very aware is not always the case!
I’ll read pretty much any sub genre within the mm genre. Since discovering it a few years ago, I rarely read anything else. One thing I won’t touch is horror, a definite no no for me!
Never ask me what my favourite anything is as I’ll have to give you a list of about ten or twenty things. How am I able to pick one food, book or film out of so many that I love?!
