Located on a remote island, the reform academy for “ruined” women is where Vampires like me get sent. It’s the last place I want to be, but after my failed trip to the border with Gymma, it’s my only remaining option. That’s not the worst thing, though.
My dad brought me to a different part of the island a year and a half ago under false pretenses. He handed me over to the cold and beguiling Gymma before walking out of my life. Or so he thought.

Now, I’m back on the island to attend the academy. Through some horrid turn of fate, Gymma’s my instructor. Old wounds are soon ripped open, and the demon on my shoulder re-awakens, bent on making both of our lives utter hell.
But it’s not all bad. There’s the charming and beautiful Rion, who’s as interested in getting close to me as I am her. In a confined place with little outside access, students are encouraged to feed off each other exclusively. Given how intimate a connection it is, we can’t help but grow closer as our lessons drag on.

Gwin Savage has been writing stories and building worlds since the age of eight. Passionate about all things bookish, she earned a BA in English Literature and a Certificate of Women’s Studies. While in college, she especially enjoyed upper-level art history courses.
