  1. I feel that it’s almost required to engage with readers. It’s expected by many it seems. But I stink at it.
    I get tongue- (really finger) tied. How to sound upbeat and personable? How to engage, share a bit of yourself as a writer, when being alone is your baseline?
    No, we don’t “owe” readers, but it’s simply civilized interaction, isn’t it? Wish I were better at it.
