FOR WRITERS
Today’s writer topic comes from QSFer J. Scott Coatsworth:
I’ve just checked four of our website trackers, including QSF and my own site. While Facebook is consistently the top non-search engine site sending traffic our way, often with thousands of visitors, Twitter barely registers.
On two sites, December had zero visits from twitter to the website. On the other, 2 and 18, respectively.
So what do you think? Does anyone actually click on Twitter links? Is it a worthwhile vehicle for driving traffic? If so, what kind of tweets attract the most attention?
And a corollary – if you use twitter, what do you get out of it? Any tips to share?
