FOR WRITERS
Today’s writer topic comes from QSFer Denise Dechene:
I’ve read a lot of good books over the years. There are some authors who don’t write anymore due to illness, death, retirement, etc.
Is there someone in particular who you wished was still writing? A series never finished?
Is there an archive of authors who have passed or retired?
Four authors of sci-fi/fantasy who died way, way too young: Henry Kuttner, C.M. Kornbluth, Thorne Smith (all straight) and Oscar Wilde. Wish they’d lived to ripe old ages. And who wouldn’t want to know how “The Mystery of Edwin Drood” was supposed to turn out! Writers, we can learn a lot from reading any of those writers!
