Discussion: Weird Fiction

Weird Fiction

Today’s topic comes from QSFer Jim Comer:

What is the place of QUILTBAG characters and authors in ‘weird fiction’? Howard Waldrop’s fiction almost always focuses on out of place things, people, and viewpoints. Gene Wolfe’s work is (in)famous for unreliable narrators and layered style.

I wonder if this would include Lovecraft’s work as well?
