Discussion: Social Media Interactions With Authors/Readers

With social media, it’s easier than ever for readers to reach out to authors, and vice versa.

Since I’ve been on Facebook and involved in the LGBT fiction community here, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed interacting with an author in real time as I read one of their books.

But easy access can also have its downsides.

What are some of the best things that have happened for you as a result of these interactions as a writer or a reader? And the worst?
