Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin New Shepard reusable rocket hit a test altitude of 329,839 feet and then made a successful return landing to its launch site in western Texas on Monday, the company reported. It also published a spectacular video of the launch and landing. The rocket, powered by an American-made BE-3 liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen engine, is made to carry six astronauts and/or space tourists. The video also included a simulation of what a space tourist aboard the flight would experience as it breached Earth’s atmosphere. Full Story at Towleroad.com
Italian musician Paolo Tuci has created his own take on the theme song from the popular manga series Sailor Moon. In a new video titled “Sailor Moon e il Cristallo Del Cuore,” Tuci plays the role of Sailor Moon while three other shirtless hunks play the roles of Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter. The Multicultural LGBT Literary Foundation has released a literary-themed 2016 calendar as part of its #ReadNaked campaign. #ReadNaked aims to promote that reading can be fun and sexy for young gay and bisexual men of color. The calendar features openly gay and bisexual models of color posing alongside books and quotes by gay authors of color. Models included in the calendar are Andrew Christian models Arad Winwin and Cheddy O, model Rodiney Santiago, adult film star Scotty Marx, model Wiko Ezra and more. Another comic book series? Well, Netflix’s new offering, which debuts its first season on Friday, is a little different. The female protagonist is a tough, damaged, boozy cookie — a former superhero who opens a detective agency.
