DC superhero Dreamer is appearing in Fortnite, becoming the popular online, battle-royale game’s first openly trans character. September marks the return of the game’s Rainbow Royale – a massively popular LGBTQ+ Pride event which includes new queer content and cosmetics for players. Last year’s Rainbow Royale included a variety of rainbow-themed items, emotes and sprays celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Teen Wolf star Charlie Carver will be joining the long-running anthology, fresh from his turn in The Batman. Trans non-binary actor Zoe Terakes has been cast in a key role in the upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart, Deadline reports. Variety confirmed Q-Force had been officially cancelled on Monday (8 August), after star Matt Rogers first let the news slip on the Attitudes! podcast in May.
