Jude Law will play a young Albus Dumbledore in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” sequel, according to Variety. Set in the 1920s, the film will show Dumbledore as the professor of transfiguration before he became Hogwarts headmaster and mentor to Harry Potter. Johnny Depp will also appear in the “Harry Potter” prequel as the villainous Grindelwald, Dumbledore’s childhood friend and first love. The actresses playing Supergirl’s lesbian couple have opened up about their ground-breaking relationship. Chyler Leigh and Floriana Lima were speaking as they attended the GLAAD Media Awards, where Supergirl was nominated for best dramatic TV show – thanks largely to their storyline. The novel’s description barely sounds like what unfolded in the pilot. Readers compare the book to A Case of Conscience or A Canticle for Leibowitz, while I thought of Solaris while watching the TV show. Sir Ian McKellen is to bring Gandalf, his most iconic film role, to the stage for a new one-man show. The veteran actor will bring the wizard to life for a nine-performance charity run at London’s Park Theatre. Funds raised will go towards the upkeep of the small 200-seat theatre in Finsbury Park.
