News: The Massive Drone That Will One Day Deliver Your Packages

Two years ago, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos appeared on 60 Minutes to show off what he said would be the future of package delivery: a drone that would fly from Amazon headquarters to dump your goods off at the front door. Today, the company unveiled the latest iteration of its idea, along with actual footage of the drone in flight, in a video narrated by Jeremy Clarkson. SNL Star Wars Auditions: The Next Generation

I don’t think this tops Saturday Night Live‘s original version of Star Wars auditions done during the 20th anniversary of Star Wars and featuring Kevin Spacey (also included below), but this new version for The Force Awakens is worth watching. News: Jeff Bezos’ Team Spectacularly Lands a Reusable Rocket

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin New Shepard reusable rocket hit a test altitude of 329,839 feet and then made a successful return landing to its launch site in western Texas on Monday, the company reported. It also published a spectacular video of the launch and landing. The rocket, powered by an American-made BE-3 liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen engine, is made to carry six astronauts and/or space tourists. The video also included a simulation of what a space tourist aboard the flight would experience as it breached Earth’s atmosphere. Full Story at Towleroad.com
