CALL: Stories by bisexual authors with bisexual characters for free anthology

M.S. Wordsmith and Sìne Màiri Ní Ailpín are putting together a collection of 10–12 stories “for a short story collection featuring bisexual characters written by bisexual authors.” The collection will be released as a free ebook on this year’s Celebrate Bisexuality Day on Sept. 23. Any genre is welcome, and stories should be appropriate for teenage and adult readers. Non-English works may be submitted if accompanied by an English translation.

CALL: Gilla Press wants speculative fiction that explores masculinities

Galli Books, whose tagline is “Socially Conscious Speculative Fiction,” is open to fiction, poetry, and nonfiction submissions for its first anthology, Speculative Masculinities, which seeks to interrogate Western models of masculinity and explore models of non-toxic masculinity. They are particularly looking for submission from marginalized identities and backgrounds.
