QSFer Janelle Reston has a new FF fantasy book out:
Miranda is an ordinary young woman resentful of the magic that runs in her family but has skipped her generation. If she had such powers, she certainly wouldn’t be like the witches who descend on her lake resort town every summer, wasting their powers on stupid party tricks.
But when Miranda meets a water witch named Hazel, she starts to wonder if the practitioners of magic aren’t so bad after all. And if reconciling herself to the world of witchcraft means she has a better chance of sleeping with Hazel, well, so much the better.
Author Bio
I love writing all kinds of stories, from far-fetched fairy tales to realistic fiction. But no matter what I’m writing, I never shy away from the erotic if that’s what the story needs. For far too long and in too many cultures, women have been expected to ignore their desires — sexual, intellectual, and otherwise. I want to subvert that. So I write about women who claim their passions.
Other things about me: I’m a pansexual powerhouse who loves watching the The Twilight Zone and making sexual innuendos. I live with three black cats (oh, yeah, and my partner!) And my erotica and romances have appeared in a lot of anthologies, including Best Women’s Erotica of the Year Volume 2.
