QSFer Susan Stradiotto has a new FF sci fi book out:
Elle Jones coveted an executive position.
Running from her past, Elle developed a strong drive. Her mantra: Executive by thirty! She landed the job and celebrated her long-awaited success. That was…until she left the office late one night. When she stepped from the elevator, her life changed. Three cloaked figures waited…
Andreas Javine had Elle in his sights.
Terrináe’s Congress only allotted thirty-six slots for new entrants. When Javine missed his opportunity to nominate Elle, he resorted to alternate methods.
Yster yearned for her first entrant.
Thirty-six mentors had been selected, and Yster missed selection by one. For another Entrant Season, she would be relegated to serving the mentors who were gifted an entrant. That is…until her benefactor approached her with an unusual offer. She would have to pull double-duty, but…at long last… She had the opportunity!
The start to an Epic Fantasy Series that will take the reader between Earth and Caetera.

GREGOR KNOCKED ON EDONY’S door—one of a handful behind The Odeum’s stage. When it swung open, the sight of Edony in her vasílissa regalia and her bronze curls piled around her crown left him wanting. The deep purple robes hugged her curves and lifted her breasts into perfect porcelain mounds.
He growled.
She smiled.
He entered the small room and closed the door. Sweeping both arms around her waist, he lifted her feet from the floor, and as he kissed her thoroughly, he projected: You’re exquisite, love. Though I’d prefer the opportunity to peel the dress from your body.
They both grew breathless.
Before he pulled away, he mentally whispered, I’ve missed you.
“My dear Gregor,” said Edony, running her small hand up his trimmed jawline. “It has not even been a day yet since you were in my bed.”
He growled again. “And what bearing does that have on my longing?”
“None, it appears. But you must release me.” She looked down to where his arms still held her captive. “We both have duties this evening.”
Reluctantly, he did. “Can we not simply skip this ordeal.”
“That is impossible, love. I have part of the ceremony to preside over, and you must take your place at the benefactor table.” She moved to the mirror to check her dress and straighten her hair. Sitting on the stool at her vanity, she said, “It would be nice if you selected this evening. An olive branch, if you will.”
“We have discussed this.”
“Yes, but it would put you in a better spot with Small Congress. We’ll need all the positioning we can muster.”
“You do understand my position with Niccolai.”
“Of course, but accepting an entrant is a small thing that would reap many rewards.”
“As my vasílissa, I offer you all the due respect, love. But I had to extract the Thrice Bound Oath from Niccolai to simply procure his support. He needs all the time and energy I can muster.” Gregor turned his back to Edony.
Edony stood and crossed to him. Wrapping her arms around his waist, she placed her chin on his shoulder blade and waited for him to look over the shoulder. When he did, she said, “Just consider it. I must go to Edmonde now, and you must join your peers.”
Author Bio
My life in Prior Lake, Minnesota revolves around my husband, three children, and two dogs—a border collie named Chipper and a Bernese Mountain Dog named Delaunay. If you check out my Facebook page (fb.me/susanstradiottoauthor), you’ll definitely see the BMD smiling back at you. I’ve been a Technology Project Manager for more years than I’d like to admit, but stories are my passion.
I have always been a voracious reader, lover of worlds, and a “werd nerd.” My infatuation with well-developed characters sometimes rivals my relationships with real people. I spend my free time writing, networking with other writers, and occasionally camping “up-north.” If you’re from Minnesota, you’ll get the reference along with “hot dish” and “grey-duck.” If you’re not from Minnesota, you probably don’t want to ask. Note that I’m originally a Texan, and that just never leaves you!
Happy reading and thank you so much for all your love and support!
