QSFer Aiden Phoenix has a new queer fantasy novella out, Warlock Book 1: “Lucius And The Boy.”
Lucius, a warlock for hire, is on the trail of a killer. It’s his latest job. He’s passing through the woods in a storm and hears the cries of a child. Lucius doesn’t want to lose any time in his pursuit of the killer he’s after, but he just can’t ignore the cries of an innocent child. Thinking that it’s not going to put too much delay in his job, he heads toward the direction of the cries.
Alexander, a young boy, has left his parents’ home, thinking he’s old enough to handle the real world. He winds up getting lost, hungry, and wet when a storm passes over. When a stranger approaches him and decides to take him with him, Alexander sees how dangerous the world can be. Together, they face many troubles that make them bond closer to each other.
