QSFer Natsuya Uesugi has a new yaoi book out:
Noiz is a 19 year old illustrator just graduated from art school and created his first manga, Disaster Code about the psychic boy, Mai. Noiz has a psychic secret of his own. He is excited to be showing his work at a comic convention in New York City. He eagerly sets up his table at the con. When no one stops by his table on the first day he starts to get discouraged.
The famous writer Shiro Ijima is also at the con signing books in his bestselling scifi Fissure series. Shiro wanders the aisles in Artist Alley and is intrigued by Noiz’ work only to walk away and have his agent come over and inquire with Noiz. A cat and mouse game starts as Shiro’s agent tries to get Noiz to bite. Shiro wants to use Noiz to turn Fissure volume 1 into a manga. Shiro is a womanizer but seems to be taking interest in more than just Noiz’ art.
Follow the antics of an eager artist and an arrogant writer as they plan to start the Fissure manga project in graphic noiz #1, the first volume of this YA yaoi series.
