Troy stands, sweat dripping over his impressive pecs.
It’s a glorious late-summer morning. He meticulously enters his reps in a workout journal with the same joy he once took in learning new words – not that he’s over that, but those words now consist of “protein window,” “macronutrients,” and “intermittent fasting.”
He grabs his pre-prepped protein shake, but before he can ram his cells with muscle-building nutrients, his attention is drawn to a strange glow coming from a bizarro cabin a couple dozen feet away.
